The minutes of the meeting of 5 August 2015 were distributed to the Committee and confirmed as a true and correct record.

Actions Arising from Previous Minutes
· Brent Simmons joined the meeting to ask the committee to understand that they (Brent & Denise Simmons) were not stirrers and can’t understand why people are talking about them. He wants things to stop. The committee advised Brent that issues between people are personal and that the committee is not responsible for character conflicts. The MPA can only step in if the Association is being bought into disrepute.

Correspondence
· Pub Charity have approved our request for funding and have agreed to our request in full of $2,470.00 for the hire of eight tables for the Seddon Shield
· A petition with 16 signatures was tabled for Greg Hammond to be selected to represent Marlborough in the Seddon Shield. The committee decided to stand fast on the decision to stand down Greg from the tournament

General Business
· Bob has sorted raffles that should bring in $800.00 profit. This will cover the cost of food for 100 people quoted at $721.00.
· Denise Simmons has pulled out of the Seddon Shield two years consecutively. A letter advising her of a two year stand-down is to be written and delivered

· The Delegates meeting for the Seddon Shield is to be held at 1pm in the Green room. Mike Budny is unable to attend. Tardy Landon-Lane and Gail Perano to run the meeting and Celia Bason and Ross Paton are the Marlborough Delegates
· Bob Henderson to get quotes for end of year Trophies and apply for funding
· Tardy Landon-Lane is to open the Seddon Shield Tournament
