Previous Minutes
The minutes of the meeting of 2 March 2016 were distributed to the Committee and confirmed as a true and correct record.

Actions Arising from Previous Minutes
· The start date for Interclub was delayed due to some teams not being ready
· It has been suggested that we hold our AGM at the end of March instead of February. This will be discussed at another meeting
· Mike Van Loon has put together a calculation for tournament payouts, this will loaded into tournaments. The payouts will be visible as soon as play begins
· Enough tickets for the blanket raffle have sold to cover the cost and will be drawn soon.

Correspondence
· Gail Perano received an email from Christine Price (Nelson) proposing the date for the Nelson/Marlborough tournament 18 June 2016. MPA have the Nelson/Marlborough scheduled for the 11th with the 2nd division Men’s & Women’s Singles on the 18th. Gail will ask if Christine it is okay to hold the Nelson/Marlborough challenge on the 11th June 2016

General Business
· 2016 Interclub has 10 division 1 teams and 9 teams for division 2
· Depending on the date for the Nelson/Marlborough tournament for the 11 June dates for Rep practice will be: 25 May, 1 & 8 June
· Interclub will start on the 26 April 2016. The draw will be on the website as soon as possible. The season will end 4 Oct 2016 with the breakup 15 Oct 2016 with a Cabaret theme
· The breakup needs to be booked soon with quotes/prices for; food, DJ and venue. Lansdowne Park, Central has been suggested for the venue.
· Quotes for 2016 are needed from Awards and Badges & Medals for trophies to be given out at the breakup function.
· Mike Van Loon has put up three sets of rules on the MPA website for the committee to read and confirm
· A list of email addresses for Captain’s and Delegat’s to be listed on the website
· Peter Chandler will hold the A’s v B’s on the 15 May at the Royal Hotel
· Celia Bason prefers that the women A’s and B’s be mixed up and make the night more of a coaching session. An A & a B paired up so that the A player can help the B with their game.
· The Disputes Committee are made up of the following 3 people:
· Greg Croudis Head Umpire
· Mike Van Loon Vice President
· Celia Bason Women’s Selector
· The Eight Ball trophy has been withdrawn and will not be replaced
· The Clubs of Marlborough have asked to promote their tournaments on the MPA website. It was suggested to have an additional tab at the top of the screen for “OTHER TOURNAMENTS”, this was agreed by all committee members
