Actions Arising from Previous Minutes

Correspondence

·           No Correspondence

·           No current bank statement

Financial Report

·           Since the AGM there was no money in

·           Funds out of $18.15 for the purchase of a folder for Nicole Chauval

General Business

·           Bob to make registration forms available to the hotels that had teams participating in last year draw and a letter to be sent to other hotels that have pool tables

·           All registrations must in by the 31^st March 2015

·           Mike Van Loon to make up the draw.  Mike will be away, but will have his laptop.  Bob to send all entries to Mike Van Loon by 2^nd April so Mike can do the draw

·           It was agreed that the Captains from last year should be phoned to see if they are entering a team

·           Fees are $10.00 per player and $100.00 per team and are due by the 31^st April 2015

Seddon Shield

·           It was decided that Clubs of Marlborough is more appropriate venue and has been confirmed.  The venue hire charge has been waived

·           First round quotes have come in from Pot Black and On Cue.

o    Pot Black                      $2,622.00

o    On Cue                         $2,470.00

·           Pot Black was used in Hokitika last year and will:

o    Donate Pool case

o    Do the scores on a computer and projected on the wall so everyone can see how the teams are going

o    Maintenance and ironing of the tables

·         Nicole Chauval to see if Pot Black will match or beat quote from On Cue

·         Nicole Chauval will talk with other Trusts for further grants to cover costs

·           It was decided that a sub-committee for Seddon Shield is not required and that the current committee members will ensure the smooth and successful running of the tournament.

·           Clubs of Marlborough will make food available to all participants and there may be vouchers of $8.00 issued to all players, still to be decided

·           Bob read out the updated General Rules, there were a couple of corrections.  Bob to finalise and put on website

·           Future meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month
