The minutes of the meeting of 3 Aug 2016 were distributed to the Committee and confirmed as a true and correct record.

  • Springlands paid for their team and player registration

Correspondence

  • Invoice was received from Newman’s Graphics for Rep shirts the total of the invoice is $295.43. Nicole requested to pay this invoice – Committee agreed

General Business

  • Mike Van Loon provided a list of people that have not paid. This list was updated and the remaining players will be contacted

  • Judyne Heissenbuttel congratulated Nicole Chauval for only losing one frame during the Seddon Shield Tournament.

  • Both Judyne and Peter Chandler thought that the weekend went well, no major upsets or arguments. All in all a great Tournament

  • Judyne has suggested that coaching needs to be available for new or old players that want to improve their game. The Committee members have been asked to spread the word to get the idea off the ground. Peter Chandler will take the names of anyone that is interested

  • Team Top Pairs and Team Top Singles have been played for a number of years without any General Rules to govern the tournament.

  • If the top Single or Pair players are unable to play the tournament for any reason the team will put forward the next best player/s and so on through all the players of that team

  • If the team has no players interested in playing one of the other teams will have the bye
