General Business

• AGM minutes not complete they are pending comments from the Treasurer
  
  
• There are 18 teams registered to play in 2017
  • Division 1 – 10 teams
  • Division 2 – 8 teams
    
    
  • The selectors, Celia Bason for the women’s and Peter Chandler for the men are required to submit courtesy letters providing dates and requesting rep practice time on the Clubs of Marlborough tables
    
    
  • It was put forward that the Nelson Marlborough Tournament play the Seddon Shield rulesPassed - Peter Chandler & Bob Henderson
    
    
  • Rep trials at the Clubs of Marlborough to go on to the MPA website for the 11^th March 1pm to 4pm when the date has been confirmed
    
    
  • It was asked if the MPA would put funds towards fuel for the away Rep tournaments. If people take their own cars there will be no funds but if a mini-van is used then yes MPA would put funds towards fuel
    
    
  • It was suggested to employ a Development Officer – a paid position. This person will help upskill existing players and entice younger players into the association to help grow the MPA. This will be discussed further at the next committee meeting
  • The Constitution is being updated with the proposed changes agreed to at the AGM
